Simply Magnolia Guest Design- Criss Cross Card

Morning all. Few weeks ago, I won the Fancy Folds challenge at Simply Magnolia; the prize was a guest designer spot at a future challenge. Tracy has asked me to guest design on July 29`s Criss Cross card challenge. I am thrilled.

I used Tilda Learning to Dance stamp from the new Magnolia Turning Leaves Collection for my Criss Cross card.

The card measure about 4 1/4"(W) x 6"(H). I trimmed the 2 front flaps into 1/4 scalloped circles and cut the back panel 1 1/4" higher. I distressed most paper edges and top stitched the designer paper. I decorated the card with pearls, flowers (Prima and Wild Orchid Craft), pom pom ribbon, lace and die cuts. Dies used are Magnolia DooHickey and Memory Box.

I colored the image with Copic markers and lightly dusted the dress ruffles with glitters which are not showing very well in the pictures. The designer paper used on the card and tag is Magnolia's Vintage Turquoise from Sweet Crazy Love Collection. I love this paper, so dreamy and romantic. I twisted a piece of light turquoise seam binding ribbon to make a bow for the tag and dressed up the tag with a small rose, a charm, lace ribbon and pearl string.

I hope you enjoy this visit. Thanks very much for stopping by.

Don't forget to hop over to Simply Magnolia and see all the awesome creations from the designer team.
Hugs,
Katie

Honeebee Tilda- A Birthday Card

Good afternoon dear bloggers. I have been missing in action for a while; we were on vacation in Paris and London a couple weeks ago. I have finally got over my jet lag and am slowly getting back to my routine and crafting.

I made this tag card before we left but didn't have time to post it. So, here it is - Honeebee Tilda sitting on meadow daisy.

I colored the stamped images with Copic markers. I fussy cut out the images and dusted the honeybee wings with glitters. I lightly distressed the cardstocks and did some top stitching on the designer papers.

Dies used here are from Magnolia, Memory Box and Tim Holtz (small easel on back of the card). Designer papers are from Basic Grey and Webster's Pages.

Thanks for stopping by, until next time,

Hugs from Katie
