Christmas Time at Tilda's Town Challenge

Morning Everyone!
This will be my last post for year 2013.

I have had an amazing year crafting what I love, 
being on a few amazing design teams, 
and meeting some awesome crafters in the blogland.
Thank you all so very much for your support and inspiration.

Without further ado, today at Tilda's Town Challenge we have 
a new challenge for you, the theme is Christmas!!!

I made a couple of Christmas stocking cards, using
all available at Tilda's Town on-line store.


I have colored the images with Distress Ink pads and added
sparkles here and there for some bling.


Designer papers: Maja Design.
Other dies and punches: Memory Box, MS, and SU.

Ribbon Girl Children's Christmas Craft Challenge 2013

Hi Everyone!

The Ribbon Girl Blog

Ribbon Girl is having a Children's Christmas Craft Challenge ~
Just for kids aged 16 and under.

The challenge will run from 11am Sunday 15th December 
until 9pm on Saturday 28th December (UK time).
The winners will be announced on New Years Eve.

There will be 3 prizes of crafty goodies and 
the challenge will be judged by 3 well known UK crafters.

George Cocoa Treat Box

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend so far.

We have a new challenge today at ABC Challenge;
the theme is B for Bow, Blue and Bling, sponsored by Stamp Fairy.

I made a cone treat box using Stamp Fairy George Cocoa digi image.
The mashmellows are free digi download from Stamp Fairy.


The images were colored with Distress Ink pads.
I fussy cut out the colored images and used them to decorate the treat box.


The treat box was cut using retired SU Petal Cone die.
Other dies and punch used are Magnolia, Memory Box, and MS.

Tilda with Little Dove - GDT at Time for Magnolia Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!

I am so excited Christmas is getting closer each day.
I only have 2 more cards to make then I am ready for the holidays, yey!
What I love the most is the joyful spirit and holiday treats.

Today, I have a new creation to share with you, a star-shaped gift box.
I was invited to guest design for Time for Magnolia Challenge
for their challenge #40 which starts today.
The theme is ~ Christmas anything but square.




The Tilda With Little Dove image was colored with Distress Ink pads.
I dusted some glitters around the wings and dress.
The little white diecut dove is from my stash.


I have made the box from scratch.
Designer paper: Magnolia.
Dies: Magnolia, Memory Box, and Nellie Snellen.
Punch: Martha Stewart.

6mm white flat back pearl, 20mm Angelica ivory tulle,
38mm vintage pink fluted edge sheer ribbon,
3mm aqua sparkle bead string.

Winter Wonderland at Tilda's Town

Good morning all! Hope you all have had a great week.

The regular Friday challenges at Tilda's Town have been moved to Saturdays.
Today we start a new challenge, theme is Winter Wonderland.

I created a winter scene card using Old Swedish Church as the focal image.
I made 3 cards using the same image and changed the DPs 
to create different color theme, blue, red, and white.


The image was colored with Distrress Ink Pads.
The following Magnolia DooHickey dies are available at Tilda's Town.


Other dies used: Spellbinders, Go Kreate, Simon Says Stamp.
Punch used: Martha Stewart.

Almost Time for Christmas at ABC Challenges

Morning Everyone!
I am back with a second DT card.

ABC Challenges starts a new challenge today ~ A for Almost Chrsitmas.
The sponsor is Paper Shelter. I have created a card using
a cute digi called "Yep, I have my methods!"


I have water colored the Santa image with Distress Ink pads.
I added some glitters on the snow, and
white Fun Flocks on Santa's hat and coat trims.


I stamped and embossed a bauble with gold embossing powders,
cut it out and used it as an embellishment.

Dies and punches: Go Kreate, Magnolia, Marianne, Memory Box, 
Spellbinders, La La Land Craft, SU, and Martha Stewart.

Can't believe it is December already.
I still have lots of Christmas cards to make, yikes!
I think I am going to draft my hubby into my card factory soon.

Water Distressed Poinsettia Tutorial

Hi Everyone!

I meant to do this tutorial last year but ran out of time :^)
Here I am, I managed to get this done before December, yay!

I love water distressed poinsettia flowers.
I usually make a big batch and use them for my Christmas projects.
Here are a couple of examples from my previous posts.

Merry Christmas Tilda

Happy Sunday Everyone!

The Magnolia team at The Ribbon Girl is hosting a new challenge.
The theme is Winter/ Christmas.

Here's the card I made. The layout is from CLP, I have rotated 180⁰.


The image is Merry Christmas Tilda which I colored with Distress Ink pads.


I made a pull-out tag for personal messages and notes.

Frosty Fun at Tilda's Town

Morning everyone!
Hope you all have had a good week and are ready for the weekend.

We have a new challenge at Tilda's Town.
This week's theme is Frosty Fun.

I made a 3D winter scene project for my DT creation.


I water colored the following stamped images with Distress Ink pads:
Winter Night Background.
These stamps are all available at Tilda's Town Store. 


I used light weight clay to make the snow balls and snowman.
I stamped the following words on them: NOEL, SNOW, XMAS, and JOY.
You can rotate them to display one of the above words.

I made a mini crochet scarf for the snowman.
I dry embossed the blue DP and dabbed some white chalk paint over.
I added mini jingle bells as the knobs for the matchbox drawers. 


Designer Paper: Magnolia, Maja Design, and Stampin'Up.
Dies: Magnolia DooHickey Cozy Fern & Snowflake, and Slender Firs;
Spellbinders, Go Kreate, La La Land Craft, Tim Holtz, and Stampin'Up.
